FAQ
- 1. Is there a charge for the initial consultation?
- A. No. The initial consultation is free.
- 2. Do I need a lawyer for my case?
- A. You have a right to have an attorney represent you. Statistically, you are better off having attorney representation than going to court on your own.
- 3. How long will my case last?
- A. Many cases settle before a trial or hearing. The length of any case depends upon many factors including, but not limited to, the kind of injury or claim; court’s calendar; number and type of parties involved; and the availability of information concerning the case.
- 4. What are your fees?
- A. Normally, I offer to handle automobile accident cases, worker’s compensation cases, social security disability cases, and employment discrimination cases on a contingent fee basis. I explain these fees and other options.
- 5. When should I contact an attorney?
- A. The sooner the better. It is very important that you arrange for attorney representation early enough to allow time for case preparation.
