FAQ

1. Is there a charge for the initial consultation?
A.   No. The initial consultation is free.
2. Do I need a lawyer for my case?
A.   You have a right to have an attorney represent you. Statistically, you are better off having attorney representation than going to court on your own.
3. How long will my case last?
A.   Many cases settle before a trial or hearing. The length of any case depends upon many factors including, but not limited to, the kind of injury or claim; court’s calendar; number and type of parties involved; and the availability of information concerning the case.
4. What are your fees?
A.   Normally, I offer to handle automobile accident cases, worker’s compensation cases, social security disability cases, and employment discrimination cases on a contingent fee basis. I explain these fees and other options.
5. When should I contact an attorney?
A.   The sooner the better. It is very important that you arrange for attorney representation early enough to allow time for case preparation.
